Our Story

We opened up our Spruce Grove location in August 2013 at 124 1st Ave East! We saw a need for a bike/skate/snow store and we decided to take a leap of faith. We sell premium bikes from Santa Cruz, Transition, Pivot and Evil Bikes, cruisers from Electra, and our amazing Canadian brands like Kona, Norco, and Rocky Mountain. We have all the mountain bikes you need. We have bikes for the whole family, kids too!The Spruce Grove community has been incredibly supportive and we feel like we fit in quite well. All the locals have been extremely welcoming and we’re looking forward to doing business with as many of them as we can. We offer a full service winter sports store between October and May. We carry Snowboards and Skis as well as outerwear and all the accessories you’ll need to hit the slopes.

Cyclists, Skiers and Snowboards share common interests, enjoying the outdoors and escaping the daily grind to challenge ourselves and our equipment on our great network of local trails and our nearby mountains. Mud, Sweat and Gears staff are no different, and if you haven’t been by our Red Deer store we encourage you to stop in and let us show you our carefully selected collection of products by the best brands in the industry. In March 2018 we took a leap to the big city. After years of
circling the greater Edmonton area, we dove in and planted roots in the
community of Jasper Gates on the west end of downtown Edmonton.

With the backing of our great brands, we brought our own
flavor of bike shop (small size, big service). With the amazing support of the Edmonton
biking communities, this proved to be one of our greatest successes. We proved
that our smaller, customer focused bike shops could do great things for the ridership
in Edmonton.

We have a great crew, a great work ethic and look forward to
seeing you in the store, whatever your needs are.

With the success of the West Edmonton store, we decided to
further our endeavours into the cycling communities of Edmonton by opening up
our newest location on the south side. This time, we wanted to up our game, and
took a former fine dining location and overhaul it to what you see today.

The result, another convenient location for Edmonton riders
to shop for and service their bikes.
